With a silver-medal adorned B.Com degree and a resounding success in his first attempt at the CA exams, Prithvi Pal Singh's intellectual acumen was undeniable. Despite the allure of a multinational corporation job offer, familial echoes of entrepreneurship beckoned. Fueled by his father's aspirations, he embarked on an MBA in event management and set forth to create his own event management company.
Prithvi's narrative intertwines with the illustrious Sundar Electric Decor, a legacy that began in 1951 with Sr. Thakur Singh. Under his stewardship, the company revolutionized lighting design within the Jain and Jeweller communities, introducing groundbreaking concepts to the industry.
Sr. Trilochan Singh, at the tender age of 20, joined his father's business. For 35 years, Sundar Electric stood as the solitary bastion of decorative lighting solutions across Rajasthan. The torch then passed to Sr. Tejender Pal Singh, affectionately known as Raja Bhaiya, who ushered in an era of unparalleled event management expertise. Prithvi Pal Singh, the youngest scion, was not pressured to join, given his position as the youngest in the family. Raja Bhaiya's adept management skills kept the event industry abuzz with satisfaction.
March of 2019 marked the loss of his grandfather, thrusting responsibilities upon Sr. Trilochan Singh and Sr. Tejender Pal Singh. September of 2020, however, dealt Prithvi Pal Singh a devastating blow - the loss of his father and elder brother within the same week. The following six months were a haze, but the steadfast support of his mother, Mrs. Randeep Kaur, and the unwavering loyalty of the Sundar team, provided the strength he needed.
A year passed before he mustered the resolve to step back into the business arena, upholding the legacy with the same unwavering reputation. Through sheer determination and resilience, Prithvi Pal Singh led Sundar Electric Decor to triumph at the Jaipur Jewellery Show, proving that even in the face of personal loss, brilliance could still shine.
Recognition came in waves. The Constitution Club of India, New Delhi, bestowed upon him the prestigious Bharat Gaurav Award in 2018, celebrating his academic achievements in CA and MBA, a rare feat indeed. Over the last three years, he's amassed 17 awards across India, culminating in the Rastriya Gaurav in Delhi in 2022, and the National Pride of India from the International Human Rights Commission in Amritsar, Punjab in 2023.
Behind every successful man, there's often a formidable force. For Prithvi Pal Singh, it's his mother, Mrs. Randeep Kaur, whose unwavering support has been the cornerstone of his journey. Stress finds its release in solitude, music, and drives through the city he calls home.
His mantra for success is succinct yet profound - fear not failure, for success awaits. Balancing the demands of social and personal life, he dedicates Sundays entirely to his cherished family.
Five years later, Sundar Electric Decor stands tall, a testament to Prithvi Pal Singh's unwavering commitment to excellence. Each decade, they reaffirm their promise to progress, a shining example for others to follow. Prithvi Pal Singh's journey is a living testament to the power of resilience, the enduring strength of family, and the pursuit of excellence against all odds.
